3SICCN – Three Seas Initiative Cultural Cooperation Network

Grupa uniwersytetów, instytucji kulturalnych i organizacji pozarządowych z 3SI i krajów stowarzyszonych utworzyła Sieć Współpracy Kulturalnej Inicjatywy Trójmorza. 3SICCN oficjalnie rozpoczęła działalność 10 kwietnia 2024 r. w Wilnie.  Akt podpisania wielostronnego porozumienia miał miejsce w kontekście Szczytu Inicjatywy Trójmorza jako wydarzenię towarzyszące Forum Biznesowemu Trójmorza w Wilnie 2024.

3SICCN to grupa instytucji kultury, muzeów, galerii, uczelni artystycznych oraz stowarzyszeń artystów i krytyków sztuki inicjujących współpracę w kontekście Inicjatywy Trójmorza. Partnerzy chcą wspierać się nawzajem w prowadzeniu badań nad kulturą i sztuką. Pracują nad wspólną organizacją cyklicznego Festiwalu Sztuki Trójmorza, który rozpocznie się w 2025 roku jako biennale odwiedzające różne lokalizacje w regionie. Taki poziom współpracy ma wspierać integrację społeczeństw regionu i pomóc im dostrzec wartość różnorodności kulturowej i wspólnej tożsamości. Inicjatywa jest otwarta i policentryczna, działa w duchu pluralizmu, wzajemnej ciekawości i przyjaźni. Perspektywa Unii Europejskiej i logika spójności strukturalnej UE są kluczowe dla projektu. Ważne jest również, aby partnerzy badali i ulepszali politykę edukacyjną i kulturalną oraz usługi publiczne związane z kulturą w poszczególnych krajach 3SI. 3SICCN rozumie sferę sztuki, projektowania, edukacji i przemysłów kreatywnych nie tylko jako przestrzeń dyplomacji publicznej, ale także jako ważny sektor gospodarki regionu, silnie wpływający na życie obywateli i obejmujący znaczny wolumen finansowy.

A group of universities, cultural institutions and non-governmental organizations from 3SI and
associated countries creates the Three Seas Initiative Cultural Cooperation Network. 3SICCN officially starts operations on April 10, 2024 in Vilnius. The act of signing the multilateral agreement and the conference „3SI cultural cooperation area. Art and science, public policies, education and business” take place in the context of the Three Seas Initiative Summit as a side event of the Three Seas Business Forum Vilnius 2024.

3SICCN is a group of cultural institutions, museums, galleries, art universities and associations of artists and art critics initiate cooperation in the context of the Three Seas Initiative. Partners want to support each other in conducting research on the culture and art. They are working on jointly organizing the cyclical Three Seas Art Festival, which will start in 2025 as a biennial visiting various locations in the region. This level of cooperation is intended to support the integration of the region’s societies and help them see the value of cultural diversity and common identity. The initiative is open and polycentric, operate in the spirit of pluralism, mutual curiosity and friendship. The perspective of the European Union and the logic of EU structural cohesion are key to the project. It is also important for partners to research and improve educational and cultural policies and culture-related public services in individual 3SI countries. 3SICCN understands the sphere of art, design, education and creative industries not only as a space of public diplomacy but also as an important sector of the region’s economy, strongly influencing the lives of citizens and covering a significant financial volume.
